Whew! What a year we have had, as I am sure is true for everybody.
We have tried to meet this recession head on by providing our customers with superior service and exceptional value for their purchase that you just don’t get at the larger box or chain stores. (We fix or repair $37.00 installations!)

I hope everybody is able to take a little time for themselves during this hectic season and relax and not get yourselves all “stressed out”.
We have taken on a new line of carpet from Mohawk, the “WundaWeave” line that has some very exciting products available catering to the customer seeking a little more luxury and performance, but rest assured we still have the basic and entry level products for the budget conscience and landlords. Come see our new hand scraped, prefinished hardwood floors as well, they are priced very competitively.
Finally, we carry the full line of Mohawk cleaning and maintenance products for carpet, laminate floors, wood floors and ceramic tile, come by and stock up on these amazing products (they are all natural as well).

strong>Q & A on the Shortest Day
Q. Why do the days get shorter in winter?
A. If you live in the Northern hemisphere, as most of us do on this planet, the days get longer in the summer and shorter in the winter. This is because the Earth tilts back and forth in its orbit as it orbits around the Sun.
Q. Why is it summer in Australia when it’s winter here?
A. In our winter, the bottom half of the planet points toward the Sun, so it’s summer in Australia. On our shortest day, which is December 22nd this year if you live in the USA, it’s the longest day Down Under.
Q. How short do the days really get on the shortest day?
A. That depends on where you are on the globe. The further north you go, the shorter the days get, and at midwinter up in the polar regions, the Sun doesn’t rise for weeks!
