Here are some stories to boost your opinion of your intellect as we enter a New Year:

A 22-year-old man was arrested at an airport hotel after trying to pass two counterfeit bills – the problem: they were $16 bills.
At a traffic accident in St. Louis, a car hit a bus carrying 5 passengers, but by the time police got there 14 more people had boarded the bus, claiming to have whiplash injuries.
A man called police to phone in a bomb threat, but got so worked up at the cost of the call that he yelled “Call me back” and left them his phone number.
In Los Angeles, a man claimed to get tired of walking so he stole a steamroller. He then led police on a 5 mph chase until one of the officers stepped onto the steamroller and stopped it.
In Ionia Michigan, a drunk robber tried to get money from two gas station attendants, and when they refused to hand over the cash he threatened to call the police… Guess what happened? They didn’t, he did and the thief was promptly arrested.
